The Lyndon State AMS/NWA Local Chapter has been quite busy so far this fall! From the Annual Car Wash to the Mount Washington Hike, there has hardly been a quiet weekend yet for our members. Here is a closer look at some of the annual activities so far this semester:
Fall BBQ: September 2nd
Club members gathered for an annual on-campus cookout – a great way for first-year students to get familiar with the club members early in the year!
Burke Mountain Hike: September 9th
Every fall we host a group of people to hike Burke Mountain – a prominent peak in the Lyndon area famous for skiing and mountain biking. Damp weather this year was not enough to keep a sizable crowd away.
Mount Washington Hike: September 17th
Our club challenges itself every year by organizing a trip up the tallest mountain in the Northeast. Notorious for its inclement weather, we lucked out this year with some of the best conditions of the season!
Car Wash: September 24th
The Annual Car Wash was a popular stop for local residents this year, with warm and beautiful weather. Our club raised over $300 purely from donations!
