Anticipation is building for the 43rd Northeastern Storm Conference this week! One of our most popular and helpful events for students is the Saturday afternoon Career Panel, where we showcase various successful meteorologists in the field separated into specific sectors. This year’s panel discussion will take place on Saturday, March 10th at 4:45 – 5:45 PM, and will feature the following panelists:

Tom Bedard | Private Industry / Emergency Management
Steve LaPointe | WRGB Lead Meteorologist
Dr. Ariel Cohen | NWS Topeka, KS Science and Operations Officer / Former SPC Forecaster
The panelists will be happy to answer questions about their current or former positions, ways to stand out when applying for jobs, and everything in between. This is a great opportunity to talk openly about ways to prepare yourself for the professional world!
The session will be moderated by Lyndon AMS/NWA President Ben Frechette and Vice President Robert Van Kleeck.
